Liz was a blast – and you can totally tell from her photos that she was going to have some fun and no one was going to stop her.
Let’s talk hair and makeup:
Hair – Liz wanted Daniel to do something simple on her hair and she wanted to wear it down – and when you don’t have long hair naturally, you can always purchase it. One thing that is very important when creating long curls or waves is that once it is created, it has to stay – because that is what they paid for. Daniel loves to use a styling spray that protects the hair from the heat, keeps the style, and keeps the humidity out of the hair – all of those three things makes the style stay all night. In fact, Kathie Resop (from Side by Side Weddings) sent me a text the next morning of Liz’s hair while she was dancing late that night and her hair was still perfect.
Makeup – Light, fresh, beachy and a little sexy – we used warm tones on the cheeks and lips (it gives the illusion that the skin is more tan) and then we used a cool based pink on her eyes to really make them pop. Also the shadow was very luminous so it looks very natural but when the light hits it – it pops and becomes something spectacular.
Liz had something that was cool with her wedding – she was very close personal friends with her photographer (Dennis Kwan) – check out his work, he does some amazing work.
