Beautiful Boho Inspired Engagement Shoot

Who is ready for their dose of beautiful for the day? Daniel and I were absolutely thrilled to be a part of this awesome engagement shoot styled by Kelly McWilliams in a boho-esque style in a wooded area in the midst of the orange groves. How much more Florida can it get?

We are loving the clean, soft, romantic photography style so expertly captured by Anastasiia Photography – and her use of natural light is just killer!

Salon Tease Boho Engagent Photo Shoot Let’s Talk About the Hair

I love how Daniel created a soft, modern undo that really showed off her beautiful ombre by adding texture to the hair with braids and soft curls. To create volume and texture Daniel curled the entire head with a large barrel curling iron. He then sectioned out the top and set it aside (to be used for the braid later). The back section of the hair was then places into a messy bun at the nape of the neck – this gave the illusion that she had a lot more hair than she really did. Daniel lastly used the top section of hair and created a braid and then wrapped it from the front to around the back of the head to the messy bun. He then loosened up the braid and placed the flower crown on – perfection, no?

Let’s Talk About the MakeupSalon Tease Boho Engagent Photo Shoot

Soft, sensual, glowy with a hint of a bronzy red was the theme for this awesome makeup. I used the SMASHBOX Studio Skin foundation and contoured with a darker shade. I used a liquid bronzer by ESTEE LAUDER to create that beautiful glow around the face and then used a pearl finish highlighter by SMASHBOX on the tops of the cheekbones, nose, cupids bow and chin. I used a deep burnt pink matte blush on the cheeks by DIOR and then highlighted it out with the golden powder highlighter from BECCA. I also used the same DIOR blush across the entire hairline to warm up the skin. I used a cream MAKEUP FOREVER shadow and the SEPHORA shadow crayons as my waterproof shadow base and then set it with shadows from DIOR, CHANEL and INGLOT. The lips were lined with two different LANCOME pencils and then glossed over with a golden MICHAEL KORS gloss. What’s not to love?
