This wedding was just spectacular – we started the morning off at The Inn on 5th where we get everyone ready, then we went to St. Williams’s Catholic Church for the ceremony and ended the evening in a magnificent tent at The Botanical Gardens.
One of the cool things about this wedding was that we did two of her bridesmaids weddings – and we did Lindsay’s hair and makeup for at least one of the two weddings – referrals are everything and we are honored that she wanted us to be a part of her wedding as well.
Lindsay had a TON of thick, gorgeous blond hair that doesn’t really hold a curl all that well – so what do you do? We go back the the classics, but we added a touch of modern to it – the French Twist is a great way to eliminate hair in a super secure way. What made this one modern was the light wispy’s of hair that Sir Daniel left out along the top to soften the usually smooth (and sometimes severe) top and sides of a traditional French Twist. This added the much needed texture that she was looking for – almost like she raked her hands through her own hair and pulled it back herself, but a thousand times better.
